Band leader and group founder, Chico Zarate, has at last realised his dream to create this fantastic band which pays tribute to the original Gypsy Kings.  Formerly the lead singer and guitarist from the well-known Auckland Latin dance band KANTUTA, Chico is a very-well respected and passionate performer who has rounded up some of his favourite musicians, all uniting as "Los Gitanos" and bringing audiences a joyful, dynamic and exciting show.  A unique fusion of sound and energy, this is a special act like no other, the ultimate blend of live guitars, singing, exciting drumming and percussion.  Each performance by Chico Y Los Gitanos is guaranteed to wow your audience and leave them breathless and wanting more!
