Riqi Harawira is a gifted and passionate singer/songwriter whose music reflects both the sounds of Aotearoa as well as that of other First People around the world, from traditional waiata (Maori song), Koaue aue (flute) and the pu moana (conch shell) to the Australian didgeridoo and Tibetan throat singing. Riqi describes his sound as 'tribal pop' incorporating roots, funk, soul and reggae.
